The Carneddau is one of the darkest corners of North Wales, and you don't have to walk far into it to leave the light behind. We head out from Aber Falls, gain just enough height to get away from the valley, and let your eyes adjust.
What to expect
An easy walk in on good ground, then time under the sky. We'll point out what's overhead on the night, from the Milky Way to whatever planets are up. Bring a flask and something warm.
Who it's for
Anyone. No experience needed and no summit involved. We run these on clear nights through the darker months.
