Tiree: the magical playground with white sands and empty beaches; the island provides both flat spots and wave action. Pure indulgence time to improve and learn new tacks, jibes or foot changes. If you seek tranquillity, freedom of space, and clean pure air, the Isle of Tiree has it all. Being only 12 miles long and 3 miles wide, the sky and sea stretch in all directions.
Tiree is the most westerly island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland and has been an annual event. The island has beaches that cover all directions for wind with crystal clear waters. Due to its location it is not crowded and like minded adventurers are the only visitors. Bring all yours toys as this is Scotland, so the weather is always changing.
Five days of two 2hr coaching split into one session in the morning and one in the afternoon, and a free day worked around the forecast for the week.
Optional Yoga sessions morning and evening.
Breakfast, lunch and evening meals included.
Drinks & snacks not supplied.
We teach from land and on the water depending on location with the use of head sets making communication easy.
Prerequisite: be able to stay up wind, hold stable flight, self rescue and have public liability insurance (RYA or BKSA member).
Travel to Tiree not included- guest make own way. There are many ways to get to the Isle of Tiree, by plane from Glasgow or Oban, or by roll-on, roll-off Ferry. If flying in, we can transport your kit with us as there is limited luggage allowance on the plane.
