Guided Welsh 3000s Challenge

The Welsh 3000s Challenge

Rules
You need to get yourself to the top of all 15 mountains over 3000ft in Wales self propelled (without transport) within 24 hours. The challenge runs from top of Snowdon to top of Foel Fras or vice versa.

Depending on the route taken, the distance covered from the first summit to fifteenth summit is around 40km, the total distance with the combined elevation can make it close to 50km.

We usually do this challenge from Snowdon to Foel Fras so everyone is fresh to do the technical terrain of the Snowdon range.  More experience people can book a custom package where we run the challenge the other way.

To do this challenge it helps to have a good level of fitness and be use to walking or running spending some long days in the hills/lowlands, a bit of experience moving over rocky ground and steep terrain would be beneficial.

This challenge can be also be undertaken at a more leisurely pace over 3 days. Allowing you more time to take in the views with the option of a couple of secret wild camping spots along the way or staying locally at our accommodation in Anglesey.
