Register interestThe Night
The Perseids are the best meteor shower of the year, and 2027's peak falls across the night of 12-13 August. At its best you can see a meteor a minute.
What to expect
We walk out to a dark spot away from any light, get settled, and watch. This is a late one, so expect to be out into the small hours. Layers, a mat and a flask make all the difference.
Who it's for
Anyone happy to be out late. Easy ground, no summit, and the walk in is short.
