The Welsh 3000s Challenge
Rules
You need to get yourself to the top of all 15 mountains over 3000ft in Wales self propelled (without transport) within 24 hours. The challenge runs from top of Snowdon to top of Foel Fras or vice versa.
Depending on the route taken, the distance covered from the first summit to fifteenth summit is around 40km, the total distance with the combined elevation can make it close to 50km.
To do this challenge you need to have a good level of fitness and can walk long days in the hills, with a bit of experience over grade1 scrambles and steep terrain would be beneficial.
This challenge can be also be undertaken at a more leisurely pace over 3 days. Allowing you more time to take in the views with the option of a couple of secret wild camping spots along the way or staying locally at our accommodation in Anglesey.
What we offer
Our qualified mountain leaders have first hand knowledge of all the routes and are there to help guide you, giving you the best chance at completing this challenge. We will arrange transport back to your vehicle after the challenge and have a support vehicle in each valley for refuelling and changing layers.
